Corona virus, plusses and minuses

Unfortunately it is difficult for me now to pick up or deliver clocks. If you want to come to the workshop you are nevertheless welcome and you can leave the object in question on the garden table, if we prearrange this. A plus for me is that I have now restored a lot of my

From Russia with Love

This is a 1930s longcase clock made by a Russian clock factory called I was in Russia over Xmas and repaired this one with my usual set of tool. A screw driver and a pair of pliers can sometimes do the job though.

Apart from gothic and renaissance clocks, I now have Knibb, Jones, Quare, Etherington, Windmills, Visbach, Massy, to name a

what a client said

Rick Haill: “Wim is a very experienced and reliable clock restorer. Very interesting to talk to as well, for example about his work with the clocks of Downton Abbey! I can strongly recommend Wim to anyone who has an antique – or even a more more modest modern – clock in need of repair.”
