The largest contrast imaginable

Just after I did a 17thC longcase with a wonderful movement, an american, so-called ogee shelf clock (which is really a wall clock) came in with the hands and pendulum missing. It had great sentimental value to the owner, but I managed to buy a similar clock on ebay, which was in a terrible state and also with parts missing, except the ones I needed. In this way I was able to bring an old friend to life, which felt good. The owners were very happy too.
