A lovely 10″ white dial clock with a solid mahogany case, c. 1870; the veneered pine back box is attached to the front with pegs. There are side and a bottom doors to be able to remove and install the pendulum, as well as regulate the clock. The painted dial is signed in the following manner: DONALDSON LEED, probably the retailer or a shop owner’s name. The flat glass is set in a spun brass bezel. The eight-day fusee movement is attached to the dial with dial feet. It has anchor escapement and a short pendulum.

The movement has been completely restored, is in good working order and comes with a two-year guarantee.
